Beauty Therapy - Helping enhance your own Natural Beauty |
Until a few decades ago beauty therapy treatments were seen as luxury, but are now being recognised for their contribution towards a healthy lifestyle and a preventative of stress. We all love to be pampered, and there are still those who consider these therapies to be a luxury. However, for some people beauty therapy treatments have become, or is, a necessity helping with problem skin or excess hair growth. Forms of beauty therapy have been around for thousands of years dating back to the ancient Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, Hindus, Chinese, and Japanese. They, each had their own customs and rituals, and during fastidious cleansing, bathing, and grooming routines they spent hours surrounded by exquisite fragrances, or being massaged with aromatic oils. In today’s society beauty therapy is growing, it is still evolving, and with new technology becoming more widely available, will continue to do so into the near future. There are many forms of beauty therapy - Manicure, Pedicure, Eye Treatments such as, a Brow Shape or Tidy, Eyelash and Brow Tinting, Eyelash Extensions, Eyelash Perming, St. Tropez Tanning, Waxing, Body Wraps, and Facial Treatments.

An example of these is HOT TOWEL THERAPY which is a luxurious pampering treatment that takes place whilst relaxing comfortably on a couch and includes: Facial Cleanse - to clean, nourish, and energise the skin. Toner - to refresh and purify the skin and remove traces of cleanser etc. Exfoliation - to remove impurities from the skins surface. Massage - with a rare and precious blend of vitamins and oils, combined with the use of warm towels to nurture the skin, improving texture and tone, helping to restore suppleness, radiance and youth. Mask - depending on Skin Type, possibly deep cleansing or hydrating. Moisturiser - to condition, it nourishes, and protects the skin. Eye Cream - to refresh and soothe the eyes.
