What is Botox®?

                                                                                                                                                                    Botox® injections are a medical procedure, used to remove the frown lines and wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes, whereby, a qualified practitioner injects a tiny amount of Botulinum toxin into selected areas. This causes the facial muscles to relax and partially or totally remove such things as "crow’s feet ". The whole process normally lasts for around 15 minutes on completion of which the only visible sign, in the area of the procedure, is usually a slight red blush, which disappears quite quickly. The process is normally effective for a period of 4 - 6 months when there maybe some return of muscle movement causing lines to reappear, should this happen the individual can elect to have the procedure repeated.
