Sound Healing

The healing power of sound has been used for centuries all over the world. Australia by the Aboriginals Ancient Egypt Ancient India Africa Asia Tibet Europe Bali America by the Native American Shamans The sounds used range from the use of the voice (vocal toning, chanting), instruments made from nature, singing bowls made from quartz crystal or combination metal alloys, bells and chimes. How does it work? Vibration – everything is in a state of vibration, people, nature and objects. We all have our own frequency, a resonant frequency which is our optimal vibration. When a part of our body starts vibrating out of tune with the rest of our body, our vibrations become blocked or disrupted, this causes “dis-ease”. Sound is also a vibration and it can be used to re balance our energy centres “Chakras” and unblock disrupted vibrations within us. Would you like to participate in Sound Healing Evenings? Sara will be running Sound Healing Evenings from The Oaks Consulting Rooms in Bournemouth. These will be 2 hour sessions for up to 12 people at a cost of £5 each for 2005. Anyone who is interested is welcome, no experience is necessary and you can participate straight away to see what results can be achieved.
